1. Privacy framework
Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) apply to us, we handle personal information in accordance with those requirements. This policy is intended to describe our usual personal-information handling practices in a clear and transparent way.
2. Personal information we may collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect and hold information including:

- billing, transaction and account information where you become a client;
- technical and usage information such as IP address, browser or device information, referral source, website activity and cookie identifiers where these are collected by our website or analytics tools; and

We do not ask you to provide sensitive personal information through the general website enquiry form. If sensitive information is required for a particular service, we will only collect it where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
3. How we collect personal information
We may collect personal information:
- directly from you when you complete a website form, email us, call us, book a consultation or otherwise communicate with us;
- during the provision, administration or proposed provision of our services;
- from third parties where you have authorised the disclosure or where collection is otherwise permitted by law; and
- automatically through website logs, cookies, analytics and similar technologies where enabled.
4. Why we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information
We may handle personal information for purposes including:

We do not sell personal information to third-party advertisers.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising technologies
YouthWorkReady.com.au may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools and similar technologies to operate the website, understand usage, measure campaigns and improve our services. Where implemented, these tools may include services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag.
These tools may collect browser, device and website-usage information. You can usually control cookies through your browser and through any cookie-preference controls made available on the website. Disabling certain technologies may affect website functionality.
6. Direct marketing
Where permitted by law, we may contact you about Youth Work Ready, AM Training or related services that we reasonably believe may be relevant to you. Commercial electronic messages will be sent in accordance with applicable Australian spam laws, including applicable consent, sender-identification and unsubscribe requirements.
You can opt out of marketing at any time using an unsubscribe facility where provided or by contacting sales@youthworkready.com.au. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending communications necessary to respond to an enquiry or administer an existing engagement.
7. Disclosure to service providers and other parties
We may disclose personal information to third parties that assist us to operate our business or deliver services, such as:
- website hosting, database, cloud storage and IT providers;
- email, communications, CRM, booking and form-processing providers;
- analytics, advertising and cyber-security providers;
- payment, accounting and business-administration providers where relevant;
- professional advisers, contractors and insurers; and
- government, regulatory, court or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law.
8. Overseas disclosure and storage
Some third-party technology and cloud providers we use may store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved may vary depending on the providers and infrastructure used from time to time. Where the APPs apply, we take reasonable steps required by law in relation to overseas disclosures.
9. Storage, security and retention
We may hold personal information electronically and, where necessary, in physical records. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, authentication, secure hosting, backups and other technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information and systems involved.
No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to administer our relationship with you, and to meet legal, tax, insurance, dispute-resolution and record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer required, we may securely destroy or de-identify it, subject to applicable law.
10. Access and correction
You may request access to personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Contact sales@youthworkready.com.au to make a request.
We may need to verify your identity before processing a request. In some circumstances, the law permits us to refuse access or correction; where required, we will explain the basis for that decision.
11. Anonymity and pseudonyms
Where it is lawful and practicable, you may interact with us without identifying yourself or by using a pseudonym. In many cases, however, we will need accurate identifying and contact information in order to respond to an enquiry, prepare a proposal, enter into an agreement or provide services.
12. Privacy complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled personal information, please contact us at sales@youthworkready.com.au. Please provide enough detail for us to understand and investigate the issue. We will consider privacy complaints and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
If the Privacy Act applies and you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
13. Third-party links
The website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third parties. You should review their privacy information before providing personal information.
